For the past 5 years, Michael Rito, owner of Smoke Line Brand LLC, has built a reputation in the distribution business by connecting great products with great people. Soon after, he expanded his lineup to include king cakes, forming strong relationships with some of the best bakeries in the region.

A few years back, Michael began distributing Central City BBQ’s signature rubs and that’s when our paths crossed. Over time, we developed a shared respect for quality, flavor, and community.

Earlier this year, Michael approached me with an idea — to bring his network of beloved king cake brands directly to the people through our storefronts at Central City BBQ and Las Cruces Tex-Mex. It was the perfect fit: his distribution expertise and connections paired with our neighborhood presence and loyal local following.
